I’m Bruce Lambert, owner of Lambert Inspections, LLC, and I’m glad to welcome you to our website, where you’ll find information on the major aspects of a home inspection and why it is important to choose the right inspector for one of the largest and most important investments you will ever make.

I am a State of Florida licensed Home Inspecttor and Building Contractor. I’m also a member of InterNACHI. With over 40 years’ experience in construction, I’ve built houses, commercial buildings, manufacturing plants, and complex pharmaceutical plants, and well understand how a house is built and how its components function. In 2004 I started Lambert Inspections LLC after I retired from the construction industry.

Inspecting homes is my business. I don’t work as a contractor, have no affiliations with contractors or real estate companies, and don’t make repairs or offer remodeling services. I’m thoroughly impartial and totally dedicated to your interests.

My easy-to-read inspection reports and photographs are written and archived by Report Host. Your report is sent to by email. A link to Report Host takes you directly to your repor. If you prefer, I can send you the report by U.S.Mail. The report provides you with information on the condition of the house and items that need your attention.

I wholeheartedly encourage you to participate in the inspection, an invaluable learning and discovery experience in which you will gain insight into maintenance, life expectancies for various systems, and possible future problems. I am available for free telephone follow up after your inspection. Having full knowledge of the home’s structural and working components can help you with negotiations during the offer and/or purchasing phase of your transaction, and ensure a smooth and timely closing.

Choosing the right home inspector can be difficult.

Unlike most professionals, you probably will not get to meet me until after you hire me. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and yes, different pricing.

One thing for sure is that a home inspection requires work, a lot of work. Ultimately a thorough inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort.
